Welcome Brew Barn!
With this newsletter & blog post we welcome our second location, the Brew Barn, to join the Ale House in our Moon Hill publications. Having started in 2018 on Red Apple Farm and in partnership with Red Apple Farm, the Brew Barn is well on its way to being the same kind of neighborhood ‘local’ in Phillipston as the Ale House is in Gardner. Our newsletter will now always carry the Brew Barn news and notes. Your possibilities just expanded!
Brew Barn is much like the country version of the Ale House. It has picnic tables, country stage, a big ol’ barn, and the kind of beer and food you expect at the Ale House. And your beer is there. And the Red Apple Farm Country Store is right there.
We are a bit seasonal at the Brew Barn; in the winter we are open 4 days (Thursday thru Sunday) and we go to 7 days on Monday, Memorial Day each year.
Brew Barn and Red Apple Farm share marketing & events, basically doing all the fun stuff together. A trip to the Brew Barn is both a trip to Red Apple Farm and Moon Hill Brewing Co., where you’ll find our food and our craft beer and our friendly/happy staff just like at the Ale House. Close your eyes and you’ll think you’re here, but you’re there.
Brew Barn is that place where there is something for the whole family. We also have a great big deck. Not so useful at the moment.
If you haven’t been, then you have something new to do. In the middle of February something new to do is precious.. Brew Barn is about 13 minutes from the Ale House.
We have takeout there too. We also offer Hardwick Wines and Timber Fire Pizza is our neighbor and they offer takeout too.

In the summer/fall season we add barbecue to our menu.
Dogs are allowed year-round. Friendly dogs on a leash of course.
As we head into spring the Brew Barn will be calling you out more and more and saying, ‘Don’t stay home!’ But for now it’s warm and cozy with a fireplace and a comfy feeling.
