For Monday March 24, 2025: type: East Beach Blondes location: Charlestown RI. Ninigrit Pond Description: The East Beach Blonde oyster grows in a mud flat area in Ninigrit pond. It produces a super briny flavor. Even more so than the common brine king he PEI oyster. It;s high salinity and low sweetness. They are called the East Beach Blondies because they are always washed with high pressure seawater rinse which gives it a blonde color. They are a smaller type of oyster but I was so happy we got these because they are huge on flavor. One of my favorites! Pairing: Something super hoppy would be great with this oyster. Because We're Bitter is recommended.
