Happy Birthday to Us!

Old as we are, – 20, if you don’t know, and 20 if you do – we still feel like kids around Gardner. It’s probably the secret to our youth. We still feel like we are learning new things every day and, being in the same town as Lakin’s Fine Children’s Apparel, The Paramount,  Priscilla’s and Anthony’s Liquor Mart, who’re like 100 years old (Ok, 90; talking about the businesses not the esteemed current owners) we are comparatively basically just out of diapers. Our immaturity notwithstanding, we have made it 20 years and feel like tooting our collective whistles, as youngsters often do. When we are done, there will be no doubt as to how old these kids are: 20 going on 21!

Here’s our birthday week; it’s a good time:

Beer Breakfast & Solstice Party – Saturday, June 20, 8AM
We are celebrating in old fashioned, Ale House historical style – bringing back old gigs and food. On Saturday, June 20 we begin a week-long celebration. First up will be the Beer Breakfast & Solstice Party. There will be some prizes and surprises, loads of food, music and the cherished 20-year beer glass. And it’s too good to miss. Gates open at 8AM.

Sunday, Father’s Day Brunch, 10 AM Start && Rick’s Rusty Scupper
Summer begins in earnest at the Ale House as we kickoff the Rick’s Rusty Scupper menu.

Blue Monday with The Matt Swanton Band, 6:30PM
Buck A Shuck Oysters and Buck A Shrimp, 4PM. Yes, the seafood bar has expanded to include shrimp cocktail too now!

Tuesday Tap Into Trivia with Scott, 6:30PM
