MTV Cribs Move Over
Some of you cooler types out there have probably heard of MTV Cribs. It’s where these famous type people show you around their ‘crib’ in a short’ish video. I had never heard of this and discovered that it’s been around for quite a while. And now, our savvy staff suggested that I do an MHB (Moon Hill Brewing) Cribs video.
So, I went to the web to view several of these cribvids (my own addition to the parlance) and learned quickly that a) I am not famous and b) I can’t talk like that. And these video protagonists were young and good looking, so c) I am not.
However, we did need a video to introduce people to the Ale House and our new logo and our new everything around here. And I’m told I’m not terrible looking, so maybe you all can manage watching this for a minute or two and not feel embarrassed for me. And also, there’s plenty of ‘B’ roll in this video, which means I’m not in it all the time and you get to see the Ale House as it is and it might really make you want to come down here and see us and try out our stuff – if you haven’t already, which I know, most of you have.
So bottom line is that we have a nice new MHB Cribs video and the people here who put me up to this feel it’s pretty good too. And we had it done professionally. That means digital editing baby. My nose has been fixed. My wrinkles diminished. And my Buddha belly reduced. I’m even told that that’s not actually me in the video, but an AI me.
Be kind to my doppelganger. He’s trying and he has AI feelings.
